Combined Knowledge are delighted to announce subsidised 2010 Training Classes and Workshops for Microsoft Partners.

Administrator or Update Class? Which one is for me?

The 2010 Administrators class is 5 days aimed at covering everything a person needs to know to install, configure and deploy 2010. It does not matter if you have completed our SharePoint 2007 Administrator class or not. However you might have previously covered some of the topics but the 2010 class provides you with the opportunity to revisit topics such as web application architecture and deployment.

The Updating skills class is the same 5 day content as the SharePoint 2010 Administrator Track but it is boot camped to 4 days with some of the basic content that is covered in the Administrator Track skipped because the person attending should already know the basics from SharePoint 2007, such as ‘what is a web application, ‘what is a site collection’ ‘what is a SharePoint farm’. The big difference with the updating skills class is that a new 5th day of content is added for Upgrade and Migration from 2007 to 2010.
